As an artist I've been deeply influenced and inspired by Myths, Archetypes and the Divine Feminine/Masculine.
In 2018 I led a deep diving devising process to create WILD with a cast of 39 young women at the BARBICAN, Plymouth. Inspired by myths and legends from “Women who run with the wolves" by Clarissa Pinkola Estés. And in the same year I released the single HECATE, speaking of my journey with the goddess of the witches.
In 2012 I created and directed THE SEVENTH MUSE at the BARBICAN, Plymouth for 36 young women. Inspired by Jean Shinoda Bowen's "Goddess in Everywoman". It was the beginning of the Embodied Archetype Workshops.
Then came HARVEST FIRE in 2014 at the LEMON TREE, Aberdeen with a cast of 36 young women and men. It was the first time I'd work across genders. My inspiration was "King, Warrior, Magician, Lover: Rediscovering the Archetypes of the Mature Masculine" by Robert Moore.
In 2010 I created my debut solo show THE HISTORY OF THE POMEGRANATE at JACKSONS LANE, London, which explored Persephone's story.
